The Educational Sale Representative is responsible for working with colleges and universities to develop opportunities and increase revenue within an assigned geographic territory. Your primary focus will include qualifying leads and pursuing up-sell opportunities, prospecting new business, and insuring development of our installed user base. You will have the opportunity to reach a customer base of some of the world's brightest technical people and provide them with tools that are fundamental for engineering and scientific learning and research.
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of technical sales experience are required. A demonstrated understanding of competitive positioning and selling techniques is also essential. Other requirements: listening, probing, negotiation and good communication skills.
